At Pick of the Prairie, our mission is to bring the taste of tradition to your table through handcrafted jams and fresh farm produce, rooted in family values and sustainable farming.
Prairie Freshness in Every Jar
Born from a dream, Pick of the Prairie is here to craft jam and jelly for every belly. Starting with tried and true recipes handed down through generations of my family, I hope to bring you and your toast, bread, yogurt, ice cream… anything you put your jelly on- the same joy that my grandmother’s jellies have brought me.
Experimental jams and jellies are also on the horizon, but rest assured, I test every batch for quality and flavor.
Simple combinations of fruit, sugar, honey, and/or pectin are what drive the quality flavors here at Pick of the Prairie. You won’t find artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, red 40, or anything else artificial in any of these products.
While I am busy canning up all of this deliciousness, I am also working to establish a fruit and berry farm in the Walnut area. Obviously, those take time to get established. So, help me be patient and enjoy some jams and jellies until those berries are ripe and ready for picking.
